Payment must be received before we will process the order. Please call (330) 643-2176 to determine costs of the photos. The purchase of copies by the general public is determined by the County Fee Schedule. Records & ID Bureau staff provide assistance to Sheriff’s Office staff and the general public to review Photographs. Photographs taken at Incident and Accident scenes are retained by the Records & ID Bureau. Due to the sensitive nature of some of the information included in police reports, the Summit County Sheriff's Office is required by law to protect that information. Please note: Not all police records are considered a public record. You will be required to provide a report or reference number, a last name, and a date. Please call before you come to the Jail to make sure the report you are seeking is available.ĭownloadable Accident Reports are available online here for a $1.00 fee.

Please complete a request form and enclose with a check or money order for $1.50 and send to: Please note that we will not disclose the content of a report over the phone. Additionally, Accident Reports are also available online. Incident and Accident Reports are public record and can be requested by phone, by mail, or in-person.
