The purchase of copies by the general public is determined by the County Fee Schedule. Records & ID Bureau staff provide assistance to Sheriff’s Office staff and the general public to review Photographs. Photographs taken at Incident and Accident scenes are retained by the Records & ID Bureau. Due to the sensitive nature of some of the information included in police reports, the Summit County Sheriff's Office is required by law to protect that information. Please note: Not all police records are considered a public record. You will be required to provide a report or reference number, a last name, and a date.
